You might be wondering where to get started, but I'd broadly look at User Experience Careers: What a Career in UX Looks Like Today first to get a broader understanding of what different roles in UX do, and go from there.

By go from there...I'd probably look to get a mentor who can help you in recruiting, look into opportunities that present themselves to people new to UX, and see different ways you can become more accustomed to UX principles and practices.

Just a disclaimer for resources: It's really easy to be overwhelmed with resources in UX, as there's always an article, a book to read, and other media to consume.

Also, on that note, know that you do not need to master all of these tools to be a successful UX practitioner, as UX practitioners are always learning something new day by day.
